Design Inspiration
“Cyborg Tears” feels exactly like its name. It blends retro running tech with loud, futuristic color choices that look pulled from a sci-fi comic. Action Bronson doesn’t do subtle, and this pair leans fully into that mindset. It’s expressive, slightly chaotic, and very intentional.
Look & Feel
The upper mixes electric blues, sharp pinks, neon greens, and metallic silvers. At first glance it feels wild, but the colors are balanced in a way that still works on foot. The layered panels and glossy accents give it that early-2000s performance runner vibe, while the bright palette makes it unmistakably Bronson.
You’ll notice the exaggerated contrast between the mesh base and the synthetic overlays. The tones pop harder in natural light, especially around the midfoot and heel.
Materials & Construction
Built on the performance-driven 1906R platform, the sneaker features breathable mesh, synthetic overlays, and a structured heel counter for stability. Underfoot, you get ACTEVA LITE cushioning paired with N-ergy shock absorption, so it’s not just loud visually, it’s comfortable for everyday wear.
The build stays true to New Balance’s tech-runner DNA while letting the color story take center stage.
Fit & Wear
True to size for most. The 1906R shape is sleek but supportive, with enough room in the toe box to keep it comfortable for long days. It pairs surprisingly well with neutral outfits. Let the shoes do the talking.
Why It Matters
This collaboration continues Action Bronson’s run of turning performance silhouettes into cultural statements. “Cyborg Tears” isn’t about blending in. It’s about energy, personality, and confidence. If you like sneakers that start conversations, this one does the job immediately.
