The story of the
adidas Originals Superstar begins in 1969 on the basketball court. In the 80's, it became an icon of hip-hop culture thanks to Run DMC and at the same time a fashion accessory.
In recent years, we have seen the advent of laceless and one-piece sneakers.
With this adidas Originals adiFom Superstar 'Core Black', adidas has the audacity to revisit one of its great classics to put it back in the trends of the moment.
The upper of the pair is drawn in a white crossed by vertical reliefs extended to the top of the ankle. This gives a 3D effect to the center of the pair as if the iconic shell of the original model was extended. On the sides, we find the 3 signature bands of the brand in black. Note that the inner side panels are perforated for better breathability and the TPU upper has ridges like the
adidas Adilette 2022.
True to its commitment to the environment, adidas designed this adiFom Superstar with over 50% recycled materials. The foam used is mainly derived from sugar cane.
The adidas Originals adiFom Superstar 'Core Black' will be available officially on January 16th.
The pair dropped early on selected stores.
