To round off this month's All-Star Game, Jordan is offering us a brand-new colorway of the Air Jordan 1 High OG.

A closer look at Jordan's catalog reveals that black and white (only) releases are rare for retro OG models.. (This is less the case for the AJ1 Low or the AJ1 Mids). Yet it's an all-purpose color that always finds its audience (cf. the Dunk Panda). There was an 85 version around this time last year, but it didn't really catch on, aiming more at collectors.

This year, Jordan presents us with an edition inspired by the basketball player's business aspect, and in particular his tailor-made suit from the start of his career. Michael's elegance and entrepreneurial strength are reflected in a reversed black and white color scheme compared to the 2014 edition.

The pair features a black leather base with white overlays, swoosh and toe box. The Nike Air logo can be found on the tongue, along with a black Wings logo on the sides. A white midsole and black outsole complete the look, staying within the two-tone color palette.
