The Air Jordan 10 "Shadow" returns for its fourth retail release, bringing back the understated OG colorway from MJ's first retirement with premium nubuck construction and full-length Nike Air cushioning.
Design & Inspiration
Originally released in late 1994 during Michael Jordan's brief baseball career, the "Shadow" colorway represents one of three OG Air Jordan 10 releases alongside "Steel" and "Powder Blue." This 2025 version stays faithful to the original with a charred grey nubuck upper paired with black tumbled leather overlays across the mudguard, eyestay, and collar. True Red Jumpman branding hits the heel embroidery and outsole, while the signature grooved bottom chronicles Jordan's career achievements from 1985 to 1994. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan 10 notably removes the controversial toe cap that appeared on the recent "Steel" release, maintaining the clean single-layer toe box from the 2008 and 2018 retros.
Comfort & Performance
The Air Jordan 10 features full-length Nike Air cushioning in a lightweight Phylon midsole, delivering responsive comfort for all-day wear. The padded collar and checkerboard lining add extra cushioning, while the speed lacing system provides secure lockdown. The grooved rubber outsole offers reliable traction, maintaining the performance DNA from Hatfield's original 1994 design.
Release Information & Pricing
The Air Jordan 10 "Shadow" releases November 19, 2025 via Nike Store and select Jordan Brand retailers for $210 USD / €200 / £185. This marks the colorway's fourth retail release following the original 1994 drop, the 2008 Countdown Pack (paired with the Air Jordan 13 "He Got Game"), and the 2018 retro. Part of Jordan Brand's 40th anniversary celebrations in 2025, this release follows the successful August return of the "Steel" colorway.
