Jordan Brand revives one of its most iconic OG colorways with the return of the Air Jordan 5 “Grape” in 2025—a clean white, turquoise and purple statement piece that helped define ‘90s sneaker culture.

This retro stays true to the 1990 original, featuring a white leather upper with contrasting hits of Grape Ice and New Emerald on the tongue, midsole, and lace lock. The Grape tongue returns with the classic Jumpman logo, while the heel proudly wears the OG “Nike Air” branding. Translucent mesh netting on the quarter panels and icy outsole complete the vintage aesthetic. It’s a faithful reconstruction with premium updates where it matters.

The Air Jordan 5 “Grape” maintains its signature visible Air-Sole unit in the heel, paired with a sculpted foam midsole for stability and cushioning. The padded collar and tongue deliver secure lockdown and step-in comfort, while the icy outsole gives modern grip without compromising its retro identity.

Part of the original four colorways from 1990, the “Grape” was immortalized by Will Smith, who famously wore it laceless on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. The last general release dates back to 2013, making this 2025 edition a long-awaited comeback for one of the most culturally impactful Jordan 5s ever made.
