The DOUBLET x ASICS Gel-Kayano 20 'Cardboard' is a bold collaboration that reimagines the classic Gel-Kayano 20 silhouette with a unique, avant-garde twist. Inspired by everyday materials, this design features an upper crafted from Tyvek, a durable material resembling cardboard, which evolves over time to mimic the natural wear of packaging. 

The sneaker showcases a beige and white color scheme, with asymmetrical overlays and exposed branding elements that peek through the toe box, adding to its deconstructed aesthetic.  Blue laces reminiscent of vinyl shipping tape further enhance the cardboard theme, while the signature Gel cushioning technology ensures comfort and performance.

Initially previewed during Paris Fashion Week, the DOUBLET x ASICS Gel-Kayano 20 'Cardboard' is set for a global release in November 2024, available through select retailers and ASICS.com.  This collaboration exemplifies a fusion of fashion and function, offering a distinctive addition to any sneaker collection.
