Design & Inspiration

Brown Storm mesh covers the upper in a tonal base, keeping the look clean and unified. Glossy, patent-like synthetic overlays add a reflective finish that plays against the matte mesh. Soft cream accents bring a light contrast to the palette. ASICS branding sits on the mesh tongue, with "GEL" branding on the back heel and a debossed mark on the lateral back heel. The silhouette takes its upper inspiration from the GEL-STRATUS 4 running shoe, while the midsole construction borrows key elements from other 2010s running shoes. The collaboration partners with emmi, a Tokyo wellness brand known for its "clear-mode" aesthetic, which shapes the calm, minimal tone of the colourway.
