The Levi’s x Air Jordan 3 “Indigo” brings together two American icons. Levi’s, known worldwide for its denim heritage, reworks the Air Jordan 3 with a material that defines its brand identity.

The concept is simple but strong. Take a performance basketball silhouette designed by Tinker Hatfield and dress it in classic indigo denim. It’s a crossover between hardwood legacy and workwear culture. The result feels authentic to both brands rather than forced.

Look & Feel

The upper is fully wrapped in rich indigo denim, replacing the traditional leather build. Even the signature elephant print overlays are reimagined in textured denim, giving the shoe depth while keeping the AJ3 DNA intact.

Subtle Levi’s red tab branding appears along the upper, a small but recognizable detail that ties the collaboration directly back to its roots. The translucent outsole adds a modern touch, balancing the vintage feel of the denim.

Over time, the indigo material is designed to fade and wear in naturally, much like a pair of jeans. That aging process gives each pair character.

Materials & Construction

Premium denim dominates the upper, with reinforced stitching throughout for durability. The padded collar and structured heel counter maintain the Air Jordan 3’s supportive shape.

Underfoot, the visible Air unit in the heel delivers classic cushioning. The midsole keeps the familiar AJ3 tooling, ensuring comfort while preserving the silhouette’s original design integrity.

Fit & Wear

The Air Jordan 3 typically fits true to size with a supportive midfoot and comfortable padding around the ankle. The denim upper may feel slightly firmer at first but softens with wear.
