Asics and Sébastien Abdelhamid have collaborated once again to merge the worlds of sneakers & manga.

Using the Naruto Shippuden franchise once again, the duo offer us a new edition in late 2023, based on Naruto himself and a very recent silhouette: the Asics Gel-NYC.

Inspired by the Manga's Arc Pain and Naruto in hermit mode, the Asics GEL-NYC embodies the quintessential values of the famous ninja.

The pair features a black ripstop upper with a silver Asics logo complemented by orange outlines and red overlays reminiscent of Naruto's pants and cape. The flames visible on the heel are also from the Cape. But that's not all: the lacelock is directly inspired by Naruto's scroll, and the Konoha plaque decorates the bottom of the laces. The Uzumaki logo appears on the tongue of the right foot, while a Kyubi Claw (the famous nine-tailed fox) is placed on the left heel at the back.

A special box and a sole branded with the franchise's name complete the incredible details of this highly successful collaboration.

The Naruto Shippuden x Asics Gel-NYC - Courir Exclusive released early during Paris Games Week (500 units).

The pair was available early also on December 9th & 10th at special popup store in Paris.

The main drop will happen online on Courir on Monday December 11th at a retail price of 170€.

It will also be available one week later in selected physical stores.
