New Balance continues its revival of Y2K runners with the autumn-toned 2010 'Pecan', combining technical heritage and earthy tones for a modern lifestyle sneaker.
Following the Grey Day's edition, this new release features rich pecan-brown suede overlays over olive-grey diamond-knit mesh, bringing texture and visual warmth. Black nubuck accents anchor the design, while the NB ‘N’ on the quarter reflects a molded finish reminiscent of matching-pack runners. The midsole, painted black with olive-green ABZORB pods, and a sage-toned TPU Stability Web shank add subtle contrast—balanced, refined, and reminiscent of the iconic 99X series.
Underfoot, the 2010 uses a full ABZORB SBS midsole paired with FuelCell foam for responsive cushioning and energetic feedback. The translucent TPU shank provides arch support without sacrificing flexibility, while the layered mesh-suede upper offers breathable structure. It’s built for urban exploration—ready for long walks or all-day wear with technical depth and lived-in style touchpoints.
The New Balance 2010 “Pecan/Brown Black” is dropping on June 25, 2025 at selected New Balance retailers with a retail price of $160 USD/170€/150£.
