Nike has recently stepped up the pace of its Nike Air Max 1 releases, and collectors are delighted, especially as many of them are currently on sale.

This release might be a little different, as it follows on from a 15-year-old model.

Originally released in 2008, the Nike Air Max 1 'Keep Rippin, Stop Slippin' was directly inspired by the Nike Air Safari, with black, orange and grey tones and the brand's famous Safari print.

Nike now offers us a version 2.0 that revisits the model with nods to its predecessor. The safari-print mudguard of version 1.0 is replaced by shaggy suede (and the swoosh too)... The orange leather base has been transformed into a grey mesh, while the rest of the overlays are now in smooth pearly white leather. Inscriptions on the heels and personalized motifs on the sole echo the details of the original model.

The Nike Air Max 1 PRM 'Keep Rippin Stop Slippin 2.0' will be available on November 28th at a retail price if 160$/159.99€/144.95£
