Technical Description
The Women's Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble "Fresh Mint" returns to the AM95's anatomy-inspired design language in a Black / Fresh Mint / White / Medium Grey colorway first introduced in 2009. The upper follows Sergio Lozano's original gradient construction: a Black mudguard and toe box anchor the base, while multiple Grey shades climb the wavy side panel overlays from dark Anthracite through Medium Grey to Light Graphite — mimicking the layered structure of muscle over rib. White mesh fills the upper sections, and Fresh Mint surfaces precisely where it counts: lace loops, mini Swoosh branding, tongue logos, visible Air units, and insoles. The 2026 version introduces the restored Big Bubble Air setup — Nike's recreation of the larger-volume heel Air bag from the earliest AM95 production runs, reduced in subsequent years and now reinstated to its original dimensions. A Black rubber outsole finishes a women's-exclusive build retailing at $190.
The Fresh Mint — Cult Status, Earned
The "Fresh Mint" was never an original 1995 colorway. It debuted in 2009, over a decade after the silhouette's launch, yet built a following strong enough to earn semi-cult status in the AM95 canon. Its only retro run came in 2019, making this 2026 release just its second-ever return — and the first to pair it with the Big Bubble. The combination of a beloved modern colorway with the most historically faithful Air unit construction available makes this one of the stronger AM95 propositions of the year for anyone who missed the 2019 drop.
