It's almost the 30th anniversary of the Nike Air Max 95, the Sergio Lozano-designed silhouette with its distinctive look in the Air max range. Without waiting for next year, Nike is offering us an exclusive release for the app, named 'Unearthed'. Inspired by the human anatomy and the phenomenon of erosion during its creation, this edition features a mix of materials including premium nubuck leather, mesh and hemp canvas. The aim is to create a look very close to nature with natural (versus synthetic) materials, while retaining a mat finish like the original.
The color scheme of the side panels reflects the Grand Canyon landscape featuring an asymmetrical gradient of purple on the outside and brown on the inside. Max Air technology is used and visible in the rear and front midsoles for maximum comfort. The color blue was chosen in reference to water, which plays a key role in the erosion process.

Finally, there's a map design on the back of the shoe, as well as a special insole and a box for this release.

A special edition that will delight fans of this iconic silhouette.

The Nike Air Max 95 'Unearthed' was supposed to release in August 2024. It was postponed several times and the final release is scheduled for October 9th. Retail price for these is 199.99€/184.99£, so a little more expensive than the GR releases.
