Candy-colored charm for the next generation. The Nike Dunk Low GS "Valentine's Day" brings heart-melting pink and red hues with playful holiday details, creating a kids-exclusive Dunk that celebrates individuality and the season of love.
Design & Inspiration
Originally introduced as a basketball shoe in 1985, the Nike Dunk Low transcended its athletic origins to become a cultural staple in streetwear and skateboarding communities. The Valentine's Day 2026 edition takes the classic silhouette and infuses it with festive energy designed specifically for grade school sizing, joining Nike's broader Valentine's Day collection that includes velvet Dunks and all-over print Air Forces for adults.
The "Pink Foam/Light Crimson/Summit White" colorway delivers louder colors and more deliberate materials than typical Valentine's releases. Pink Foam leather covers the toe box, laces, and heel support panels, creating a candy-colored base. Light Crimson patent leather appears on the side panels and heel, adding sparkle and shine that accentuates movement with every step. White leather provides visual relief through the Swoosh on the lateral and medial panels, along with the heel tab. The Valentine's theme comes alive through special details: a heart-shaped Nike logo in red replaces the standard tongue branding against a pink tag, while a metallic red heart-shaped lace dubrae adds playful charm. Pink Foam extends to the full-length midsole and rubber outsole, continuing across the tongue and sockliner for total immersion in the Valentine's palette.
Comfort & Performance
Built on the proven Dunk Low platform, the shoe features real and synthetic leather construction that delivers durability for active kids while maintaining the classic feel rooted in the original 1985 design. The padded collar and tongue pair with perforations on the toe area to provide breathability and the iconic look that defines the Dunk silhouette. Classic lace closure ensures a snug, secure fit. The full-length rubber outsole provides durable traction with a pattern similar to the original, suitable for both playground adventures and everyday wear. Cupsole construction adds stability and support.
