The Women's Nike Rift 2 "Kenya" is a 2026 retro of the 2002 update to Nike's iconic split-toe running silhouette. Built on a fuller, more structured frame than the original 1996 Air Rift, the Rift 2 introduces a bootie-like interior for a snug fit and a thicker, more supportive sole unit — all while preserving the tabi-inspired toe split that defines the line. The upper combines a flexible mesh base with pocked, textured synthetic overlays across the side panels — a futuristic detail that links the Rift 2 to other early 2000s Nike women's silhouettes like the Air SuperFly. The Black / Team Dark Green / Fire Red colorway directly references the Kenyan flag: a blacked-out base with Dark Green on the lining and accents, and Fire Red hitting the forefoot Swoosh.
