Technical Description

The Tom Sachs x NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe "Bricolage" (style code DA6672-100) arrives in a Summit White / Birch / Pine Green / University Gold colorway built around the GPS's signature utilitarian construction. The upper is a durable knitted material — open enough to breathe, tight enough to ward off light rain — with Birch suede mudguards for structure and a premium microfiber collar for comfort. University Gold hits the Swoosh, while Pine Green nylon herringbone pull straps at the tongue and heel — cut down from high-performance automotive seat belts — add one of the shoe's most distinctive functional details. Black laces and outsole anchor the palette. The 3-piece molded cup sole combines a durable rubber outsole, soft gum rubber midsole, and an EVA foam core for a ride that's as no-nonsense as the design. Tom Sachs' handwriting debosses "NIKE" on the heel, and the NikeCraft logo stamps both the insoles and outsole. A handmade ceramic bead is included with each pair. Made in Vietnam.

The "Bricolage" name is the entire concept. Bricolage — the French art of creating something new from whatever materials are at hand — runs through every construction decision on this shoe. The waffle outsole exists because it took a waffle iron to invent the running shoe. The knit upper honors the knot-tying methods used by explorers to navigate the world. The green pull straps are repurposed automotive seat belt material. Nothing is decorative for decoration's sake — every element earns its place. This colorway first surfaced in 2022 during Tom Sachs and Nike's original GPS run, but quietly disappeared when the collaboration was paused. Its 2026 release finally closes that chapter.

A Long-Awaited Return — Four Years in the Making

The "Bricolage" is one of the GPS colorways that vanished from release schedules when Nike indefinitely paused its collaboration with Tom Sachs following workplace allegations at his studio. With the partnership now resumed — headlined by the Mars Yard 3.0 in 2025 and a confirmed 4.0 in progress — this pair is a direct piece of unfinished business finally seeing daylight.
