Patta’s signature wavy mudguard makes its long-awaited debut on the Air Max 90 silhouette, this time in a sleek Sapphire and Particle Grey palette that bridges Amsterdam street style with ’90s running heritage.

This limited edition showcases an upper which blends airy Particle Grey mesh with tonal leather paneling, anchored by a striking Sapphire mudguard sculpted into Patta’s iconic wave motif. A metallic silver Swoosh flickers against the muted base, while black detailing on the tongue and heel keeps the look grounded. The heel’s lenticular window subtly alternates between “Patta” and “Air Max,” a refined nod to the collaboration’s identity. Together, these elements form a thoughtfully layered design that respects both brands' DNA while delivering fresh visual energy.

Underfoot, the familiar Max Air cushioning unit offers the signature plush ride of the AM90 family, supported by a sturdy rubber outsole patterned for reliable grip. Breathable mesh allows airflow, while leather overlays ensure structural resilience.
Patta is releasing the “Waves” Sapphire first on June 20, 2025, through its own channels, before it landed on Nike SNKRS on June 24, with a retail price of $155/150€.
