Introducing the Salomon XT-6 10Y 'Fiery Red', a limited edition trail running shoe that pays tribute to Salomon's trail running history. Originally released in 2013, this shoe was designed for ultra distance races and was worn by Salomon's top athletes during testing. The XT-6 10Y 'Fiery Red' is a replica of the original prototype and has been designed by the original designer Benjamin Grenet to celebrate the shoe's 10th anniversary.

The shoe features Salomon's Agile Chassis System (ACS), which provides stability and dampening, and works in concert with the EnergyCell midsole for superior cushioning and support over long distances. The breathable mesh upper is made more durable with a welded TPU film to resist damage from abrasion. The shoe also features a mud Contagrip® outsole for maximum grip on loose, soft, rugged, and uneven surfaces.

This exclusive launch features a translucent finish on the EVA midsole construction and comes packaged in a limited edition shoe bag and a pair of socks, both in the "Fiery Red" color. Each pair is individually numbered out of an edition of 804 pairs and includes a heel prototype stamp with a unique serial number.

The shoe's upper construction includes Salomon's EndoFit™ internal fit sleeve designed to hug the foot in exactly the right places and provide a precise fit, as well as SensiFit™ technology that cradles the foot from the midsole to the lacing system for a secure, snug, and customized fit all around the foot. The Quicklace™ lacing system and lace pocket provide easy on and off, while the protective toecap ensures the shoe can withstand tough terrain.
