The Air Max Phenomena emerged in Summer 2025 as Nike's answer to the rapidly growing sneaker-loafer category, initially launching in collaboration with the Serena Williams Design Crew (SWDC). Joining peers like the Jordan Loafer Mule, HOKA Speed Loafer, New Balance 1906L, and PUMA Loafyr, the Phenomena carved its own lane by borrowing technical DNA from the Air Max Sunder while embracing formal loafer aesthetics. This "Black/Metallic Gold" colorway marks the model's first inline release, following the SWDC's cream/purple and black/metallic silver debut colorways.

The "Black/Smoke Grey/Pink Foam/Metallic Gold" execution delivers triple black sophistication with strategic metallic accents. Premium tumbled black leather forms the upper, wrapped in a sleek slip-on loafer construction that eliminates traditional lacing systems.
