Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 Retro OG SP 'Brick by Brick' Review

  • Posted By : Charly

Introduction: A Sneaker Built on Dedication

The Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 Retro OG SP 'Brick by Brick' is one of the most exciting collaborations of the year. This sneaker not only highlights the BMX legend’s deep ties with Nike and Jordan Brand but also tells a compelling story of perseverance and craftsmanship.
Inspired by the streets of New York City and the concept of building greatness piece by piece, this Air Jordan 4 is a tribute to hard work and passion. From its exclusive storytelling to the high-profile launch, everything about this release cements its place as a must-have in sneaker culture.

The Story Behind 'Brick by Brick'

Nigel Sylvester, a professional BMX rider from Queens, NY, is known for his innovative approach to the sport and his keen eye for style. His latest collaboration with Jordan Brand is deeply rooted in his personal journey—one of resilience, skill, and ambition.
The phrase 'Brick by Brick' signifies the gradual building process of a dream, much like Nigel’s own rise in the BMX world.
Jordan Brand has emphasized this storytelling in the marketing campaign, where Nigel himself unboxed the sneaker, detailing the inspiration behind the design. Nike also hosted exclusive launch events in New York, bringing together sneakerheads and BMX enthusiasts to celebrate the release.
These in-person activations reinforced the sneaker’s connection to NYC and its street culture, making the drop even more meaningful. This is true even if such events are never easy to manage with a high level of enthusiasm, and can sometimes lead to unexpected misunderstandings.

Design & Materials: A Tribute to NYC

The Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 'Brick by Brick' features a bold yet refined color palette that pays homage to the city’s architecture. The sneaker comes in a premium Firewood Orange leather upper, representing the bricks of NYC buildings.
Accents of Cinnabar and Sail add depth to the design, while mesh panels and signature Air Jordan 4 detailing maintain the sneaker’s classic appeal.

Notable design elements include:

High-quality leather construction ensuring durability and a premium feel.
Aged midsole and outsole for a vintage aesthetic, reinforcing the ‘built over time’ theme.
Nike’s signature ‘Bike Air’ branding on the heel tab, a nod to Sylvester’s BMX legacy.
- Customized insole with a GO graphic representing taking action to reach your goal
- Mini swoosh on front tip
Reflective materials on the netting part of the shoe

This combination of materials and details results in a sneaker that is not only visually striking but also steeped in meaning.

Packaging & Special Features

Adding to its exclusivity, the 'Brick by Brick' Air Jordan 4 comes in a custom-designed box with the 'Bike Air' Logo on it, further reinforcing its storytelling. The packaging mimics brick patterns with a customized graphic design and a rough texture, aligning with the sneaker’s central theme of resilience and progress.
Inside, the two shoes are individually wrapped and bagged, then bound by a blue velcro tape just like the brick pallets are packaged.

Comfort & Fit

Like other Air Jordan 4 models, this sneaker offers a true-to-size fit, with a slightly roomy toe box for added comfort.
The Air-Sole cushioning ensures impact absorption, making it suitable for all-day wear. The padded collar and sturdy leather upper provide both support and structure, making it a practical sneaker for everyday use.
The comfort seems to be a little higher than the usual Air Jordan 4s, but it doesn't replicate that of last year's AJ4 SB.

Hype & Release Details

The release of the Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 has been nothing short of spectacular. It testifies to the significant comeback that Jordan brand is making in the market, with a well-thought-out strategy for 2025. The sneaker community witnessed a strong promotional push, with exclusive early access drops, launch parties, and Nigel himself taking center stage in its marketing campaign. The limited production numbers and high demand have already positioned this pair as one of the standout releases of the year.
The Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 Retro OG SP 'Brick by Brick' will be available globally on Friday March 14th 2025 for €229.99 | £209.99 | $225.

Air Jordan 3 Retro 'Black Cat' 2025 : Review and Detailed Look

Air Jordan 3 Retro "Black Cat" 2025 – A Stealthy Comeback

Context and History

The Air Jordan 3 Retro "Black Cat" 2025 brings back a cult-favorite colorway, rooted in the legacy of Michael Jordan’s on-court dominance and his sleek, stealth-like playing style. Originally conceived as a tribute to Jordan’s nickname, "Black Cat", this concept first appeared with the Air Jordan 4 in 2006.
First released in 2007, the Air Jordan 3 "Black Cat" debuts with a similar aesthetic, embodying stealth, precision, and versatility in one of Tinker Hatfield’s most iconic silhouettes.
The Air Jordan 3 is a game-changer in sneaker history, being the first model to feature visible Air cushioning and the iconic elephant print detailing.
Back by popular demand, the 2025 "Black Cat" edition modernizes this classic with a monochromatic look that blends elegance with streetwear appeal.

Design and Inspiration

The design stays true to its "Black Cat" roots by offering an all-black aesthetic with subtle details that elevate its minimalist appearance.
The upper is crafted from premium nubuck and suede, giving the shoe a luxurious feel while maintaining its rugged basketball DNA.
The glossy black elephant print overlays on the toe box and heel provide a striking contrast against the matte finishes of the upper.
Subtle branding adds to the sneaker’s clean look: a tonal black Jumpman logo on the tongue and heel, along with understated lace eyelets and mesh inserts.
The sleek design perfectly captures the "Black Cat" concept of blending into the night while still making a bold statement.

Materials and Construction

Nike and Jordan Brand have done a good job of ensuring the quality of this version. The upper combines nubuck and synthetic suede for durability and comfort, making it suitable for both daily wear and collectors looking for premium craftsmanship.
The midsole and outsole continue the monochrome theme, with a mix of matte and glossy finishes to highlight the shoe’s signature Air cushioning.
Inside, the shoe features a padded collar and tongue for added comfort. The insoles are accented with subtle branding details, completing the luxurious design without detracting from the stealthy aesthetic.

Comfort and Fit

The Air Jordan 3 Retro "Black Cat" remains true to its performance roots, offering exceptional comfort on and off the court.
The visible Air unit in the heel ensures responsive cushioning, while the overall construction supports everyday wear.
Sizing is true to size for most wearers, but individuals with wider feet may benefit from going half a size up for optimal comfort.

2025 Edition vs 2007 Edition : Key differences

While the overall look stays faithful to the original—featuring the iconic all-black colorway and Jumpman logo on the heel—several key differences set the 2025 edition apart.
One notable change is the absence of the embroidered "Black Cat" text hidden on the inner heel tab of the 2007 version, a subtle detail that made the original feel even more special to collectors.
Additionally, the materials have been upgraded : the 2007 pair featured standard nubuck, while the 2025 edition uses a blend of premium nubuck and synthetic suede for a softer, more refined feel.
The elephant print overlays also get a slight refresh, with a glossier finish and less prominent lines compared to the matte texture on the original. The same goes for the midsole, which on the 2025 has been updated with a gloss finish to match the patent leather.
Finally, the laces stand out more on the 2025 pair, with a more pronounced contrast.
Despite these changes, the 2025 re-edition successfully balances nostalgia with modern updates, ensuring it appeals to both longtime fans of the original and a new generation of sneaker enthusiasts.

Release Details

The Air Jordan 3 Retro "Black Cat" dropped on January 11th 2025 for the full family, coinciding with Jordan Brand’s winter lineup.
The anticipation around this release has been high, as fans of the "Black Cat" theme have been eager for a new iteration since the Air Jordan 4 "Black Cat" retro in 2020.
All the more so since the AJ4's release in 2020 was ultimately much more limited than expected, and resale prices quickly climbed.
In the end, the release was a quite success, with the pair sold out in most European boutiques and still available in the USA in the lower sizing, with a few restocks still popping up.
The pair dropped for €209.99 | £189.99 | $200 while the previous release back in 2007 was sold for just $125.
Check our full release page for availability & shop links. Kids sizes are still available online, check our AJ3 page for more details.

Is it a Must-Have ?

The Air Jordan 3 Retro "Black Cat" 2025  is all about simplicity and subtlety.
The all-black colorway is versatile and works seamlessly with various outfits, whether you’re styling them for a night out or adding them to your sneaker rotation.
The blend of materials—matte and glossy—creates a multi-dimensional look that’s sleek and sophisticated.
As always, we don't know when the next reissue will be, but it could be a long time from now.
Whether you’re a long-time Jordan enthusiast or a newcomer to the game, the "Black Cat" is a release you don’t want to miss.

A highly anticipated release for the holiday season, the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG SP 'Velvet Brown' closes out the year 2024 for collaborations with the famous Houston rapper.

This new release presents us with a seasonal colorway featuring shades of brown and black details in keeping with the color codes of Travis and his Cactus Jack label.
Nevertheless, it looks different from previous editions at first glance, with a very dark, low-contrast finish and premium materials.
That said, it's unlikely that the pair won't sell out immediately, as usual.

The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG SP 'Velvet Brown' features a monochrome upper in dark brown oiled suede for a luxurious look.
The collaboration's iconic large reverse swoosh adorns black leather on the outer sides of the pair, complemented by co-branding in the same color embroidered on the heel for the Wing logo and Cactus Jack cartoon face.
The Cactus Jack label is also printed on the inner sides of the foot and the outside of the tongues.
A 'Dark Mocha' midsole completes the design, providing a slight contrast, while the outsole picks up the dark brown of the upper.

The pair comes by default with a pair of Dark Mocha waxed laces that match the midsole.
2 additional pairs of laces are supplied in the box : a pink pair (like many other Jordan x Travis releases) and a dark brown pair that matches the shade of the upper.
In terms of sizing, the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG SP fits true to size, so we recommend that you choose your usual size for this model.

The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG SP 'Velvet Brown' will be available at selected Jordan retailers on December 21, 2024 at a retail price of €159.99/$150/£134.99.
The release will mainly take the form of raffles as usual.
However, rumors have it that the stockist list may have been reduced by Jordan Brand since Travis Scott declared he wanted to get more involved in his sneaker drops, notably via his website directly.
Stay tuned to our release page for release details and updates.

The return of the Air Jordan 11 Retro 'Legend Blue' for the holiday season 2024

The return of the Air Jordan 11 Retro 'Legend Blue' for the holiday season 2024

  • Posted By : Charly

Exactly 10 years after its last reissue, the Air Jordan 11 Retro 'Legend Blue' returns to the sneaker market in 2024.

If you love the Air Jordan Retro, and in particular the 11th pair in MJ's line-up, then you know that the number of releases per year remains very limited and controlled.
For some time now, Jordan Brand has instated the annual release of an Air Jordan 11 Retro for the holiday season.

This year sees the return of the 'Legend Blue' colorway (originally called Air Jordan 11 Retro 'Columbia'), one of the model's 3 original colorways.
First released in 1996, the Air Jordan 11 Retro was designed by the famous Tinker Hatfield and comes in 3 OG colors: 'Bred', 'Concord' & 'Columbia'. Rumors have it that Jordan Brand was forced to change the name for copyright reasons, hence the name 'Legend Blue'.
The Jumpman's famous sky blue is a reference to the North Carolina University where Michael spent his youth. The Air Jordan 11 Retro 'Columbia' was indeed worn by Michael Jordan, and glorified in the 1996 All Star Game.
The Air Jordan 11 arrived at a time when MJ had taken early retirement and Nike & Jordan intended to bring him back to the courts of orange ball. That season, he emerged with 3 MVP titles and a record win-loss ratio.

The pair was reissued for the first time in 2001, with disappointing modifications that saw the blue outsole disappear.
We had to wait until 2014 for a second re-release, which was a resounding success given the long wait by fans for a version closer to the OG.

Now, 10 years later, the Air Jordan 11 Retro 'Legend Blue' is back on the shelves once again. A number of updates have been made to get as close as possible to the original version, including insoles with the Nike Air logo and a patent leather mudguard higher on the sides.
Apart from that, the pair still features a white leather upper with lace-up straps and a nylon tongue. Sky-blue details adorn the Jumpman on the back, the patch under the laces and the outsole.
If you've missed the last one or simply worn them out, now's the time to get them.

Exclusive look at the Travis Scott x Jordan Jumpman Jack TR 'Dark Mocha'

The 3rd iteration of Travis Scott's signature pair, the Jordan Jumpman Jack TR arrives in a 'Dark Mocha' colorway.

After numerous collaborations with Nike and Jordan Brand on highly iconic models (Air Force 1, Air Jordan 1, Air Max 1, Air Jordan 6, Nike Dunk, Air Trainer & more),
the Jumpman brand has finally created a brand new silhouette for the rapper, first released in April 2024.
The first 2 colorways 'University Red' (exclusive to Travis' website) & 'Sail' proved ultra-limited, resulting in rapidly rising resale prices and fans waiting for further releases.

The third Jordan Jumpman Jack TR is almost here.
Faithful to the graphic charter and color codes of the Travis Scott collections, this new edition features the 'Dark Mocha' colorway made famous by the AJ1 High SP of the same name in 2019.
The pair boasts a dark look blending black and brown, perfect for the season.
The upper starts from a black canvas base with brown nubuck overlays. The tongue and reverse Swoosh adopt black suede, adding texture to the model.

The front features a velcro tongue flap with embroidered co-branding, while the Cactus Jack cartoon face sits on the heel.
On the underside of the pair, Jack is printed in white along the entire length of the outsole.

The pair comes with an exclusive bag for easy transport of your heat, plus 3 extra pairs of laces to give everyone options for personalizing their outfit.
Everything is packaged in a special brown box featuring co-branding with a custom font.

If you're wondering how the Jordan Jumpman Jack TR fit, you can take your usual size, as they fit like the Air Jordan 1, i.e. true to size.

Originally scheduled for release on November 16, they seems to have been pushed back as no retailers have loaded the pairs in raffle or FCFS drop.
Retail price is set at 199,99€/184,99£/200$.
Supplier Color : Dark Mocha/Black-Sail

Review of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Palomino - Detailed & on feet look

  • Posted By : Charly
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG 'Palomino' was released on September 2nd at a price of €189.99/$180/£174.95
It is undoubtedly one of the most eagerly awaited Air Jordan 1 High OG of 2023.
The term palomino refers to a golden-looking coat color in horses that visually resembles a light chestnut or golden yellow.
It's a rare species that results mainly from selective breeding and precise genetic cross-breeding.
The inspiration for the colorway on the recent Air Jordan 3 'Palomino' is clearer than on this Air Jordan 1 High.
That said, the official colorway is Black/Palomino/Sail/Metallic Gold. The tones used are perfectly in keeping with the current Autumn collection.

To start with, this edition features a special black box with metallic gold Nike branding, giving a luxurious look at first glance.
The nubuck used on the Toe box is a very luxurious brown colored nubuck.
This one is different from the other releases: it gives the impression of being very raw and unfinished. It looks as if it will evolve over time, with stains and marks that will make your pair unique.
On the tip, there's a black colored smooth leather that seems of slightly higher quality than the usual general releases of Air Jordan 1 High.
The eyelets & the Mid Panel are covered with the same Black leather giving the pair that classic Bred color blocking style.
Thus on the swoosh, the heel and the wing, the brown nubuck is applied again.

Under the laces is a classic black nylon tongue with gold-colored Nike branding, echoing the luxury feel of the box.
This detail has bugged a number of collectors and fans who would have preferred a brown branding to match the rest of the pair.
However, this isn't the first time this kind of detail has happened for the Swoosh brand. Always something unexpected in the familiar. The 'Nike Air' branding in gold can also be found on the insoles.
To finish off the look, there's a sail midsole and a brown outsole.
There are no additional laces with this release, just a pair of flat black laces.

Jordan brand thus offers us an Air Jordan 1 High ready for the fall and winter seasons.
A great alternative if you missed the Travis Scott AJ1 High or the AJ1 High 'Mocha'.
Some won't appreciate its lack of contrast with its very dark hues, others will be curious to rock them long term to see how it ages.
Overall, this is a solid release. The quality is spot on.
As for sizing, the Air Jordan 1 High is a true-to-size pair. So you can take your usual size.
If you're not familiar with the comfort of the Air Jordan 1 High, the pair includes a Nike Air Unit for cushioning and impact protection. It gives a close-to-the-ground, flat and firm feel.
There's not much in the way of advanced softness and comfort in this 1985 model.
That doesn't prevent it from maintaining a very decent average comfort for an every shoe.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG 'Palomino' is still available at selected retailers online. Only a few sizes left though.

The Jordan Luka 2 - A Shoe Built for Creating Space on the Court

The Jordan Luka 2 - A Shoe Built for Creating Space on the Court

  • Posted By : Hatim

The Jordan Brand has recently unveiled its latest creation, the Luka 2, a shoe designed with the unique playing style of Luka Doncic in mind. Known for his crafty game and talent for creating separation, Doncic's need for balance and control on the court has been the driving force behind the design of this new shoe.

A Shoe Designed for Nonlinear Movements

The Luka 2 is built for nonlinear movements, a key characteristic of Doncic's gameplay. To help create space on the court, the designers have evolved the combined use of full-length Formula 23 and the IsoPlate, both exclusive Jordan innovations. These features work together with a new medial Cushlon 3.0 wedge foam to help keep the foot in control, allowing players to efficiently push off their forefoot.

A Step-Back in Mind

The shoe is designed with the step-back in mind, one of the key moves that epitomize Doncic's game. The midsole is comprised of four parts, including the Formula 23 foam that rests directly underneath the foot, surrounded by a firm foam carrier. A soft foam wedge on the medial side helps the foot sink in slightly so it sits at a proper angle for pushing off the court. The latest version of the IsoPlate raises the lateral sidewall against the carrier foam to help keep the player on balance during lateral changes of direction.

Sustainability and Inspiration

In line with sustainability efforts, a Luka 2 colorway with at least 20 percent recycled material by weight will be released each season. Each colorway will be inspired by Doncic's home country of Slovenia.

Release and Availability

The Luka 2 will be released in the Luk.AI colorway on July 5 for select Nike Members globally and on July 11 on Jordan.com and at select retailers.

The Quai 54 Event and Stockists

Jordan Brand has chosen to promote this new silhouette using the Quai 54 event, a testament to the shoe's appeal and potential. For those interested in purchasing the Luka 2, we have a release page here with legitimate stockists to ensure you get your hands on this innovative shoe.

In conclusion, the Luka 2 is not just a shoe; it's a testament to Doncic's unique playing style and the Jordan Brand's commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Whether you're a fan of Doncic, a sneaker enthusiast, or a player looking for a shoe that offers balance and control on the court, the Luka 2 is worth checking out.

Review of the Air Jordan 1 Low Quai 54 2023 - Detailed & on feet look

Do we still need to introduce Quai 54?
The world's biggest streetball tournament - Made in France - returns to Paris this summer to celebrate its 20th anniversary.
This year, Jordan Brand continues to collaborate with the Parisian event, revisiting a selection of basketball silhouettes and always creating new designs.
Among them is the Air Jordan 1 Low, which the Jumpman brand has been pushing for some time. We're thinking, of course, of the collaborations with Travis Scott, but also of more classic colorways like the Unc or the soon-to-arrive Black Toe.

The Air Jordan 1 Low 'Quai 54' 2023 celebrates this 20th anniversary with a trio of colors: black, red and green, inspired by Pan-Africanism.
The structure of the pair also features an original distribution, with a chiasmus of materials and colors between the 2 feet.
The toes are mismatched : green suede (left) and red leather (right) respectively, while the heels are also mismatched but crosswise to the front: red leather (left) and green suede (right).

The Wings & Q54 logo duo can be found on the heels and Jumpman & Q54 on the 2 tongues. A white midsole and a red outsole (under the 2 feet this time) complete and unify this deconstructed design.
The pair includes 2 pairs of laces: one black and one cream, both with pan-African lacestips.
A look both familiar and unexpected, this newly available low version stands out as usual in this Q54 edition.

The pair includes the classic Nike Air-Sole encapsulated unit for maximum cushioning and lightness.
The rubber outsole completes the performance with excellent everyday grip.
In terms of sizing, the Air Jordan 1 Low fits true to size. So you can order your regular size for these.

The Air Jordan 1 Low 'Quai 54' 2023 dropped online on Nike Store Europe on June 16th. Sizes are selling out right now.
A wider release is scheduled for June 23rd. Check our full release page not to miss them.

Review of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High Craft OG Vibrations of Naija - Detailed & on feet look

Does the Air Jordan 1 High OG seem less popular at the moment?
Yet Jordan Brand hasn't yet taken its foot off the gas when it comes to releasing Michael Jordan's first signature shoe.
Alongside this, we've seen the emergence of a Craft releases branch that revisit the brand's best retro models with new materials and often a different structure.
This new Air Jordan 1 Retro High Craft OG 'Vibrations of Naija' is part of this series, inspired here by Nigerian culture.

The choice of "Pale Vanilla" and "Off-White" colors was made to represent the desert area in the north of the country.
The pair features an off-white premium leather upper and pale yellow oval laces that have replaced the flat OG laces.
The Swoosh and collar are made from a textile material threaded in a mix of yellow and black, offering that sought-after Craft look.
The tongue label features the same motif, while the lining and outsole echo the vanilla color of the laces.
The result is a beautiful visual unity with this yellow gradient contrasted by the textile part, which is thus highlighted.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High Craft OG 'Vibrations of Naija' dropped online on May 27th at a retail price of €189.99 | £169.95 | $180 which a little higher that the usual because of the Craft treatment.
In term of sizing, it's the same than other Air Jordan 1 releases which is true to size. So we recommend to order your regular size if you want to cop these.
You can grab a pair online via our dedicated release page.

StockX Revamps Seller Program - A Strategic Move in the Sneaker Reselling Market

StockX Revamps Seller Program - A Strategic Move in the Sneaker Reselling Market

  • Posted By : Hatim
The sneaker reselling market, once a goldmine for quick flips and high profits, is currently undergoing a significant shift. Amidst this changing landscape, StockX, a major player in the market, is making strategic changes to ensure they continue to dominate the secondary market.

The Quick Flip Dilemma

In the past, the sneaker reselling market thrived on the concept of 'quick flips'. Resellers would buy limited edition sneakers at retail price and sell them at a higher price, making a substantial profit. However, this trend is changing. The current drops are not yielding the profits they once did. Resellers are finding it increasingly difficult to make a profit, with many resorting to buying under retail price in the hopes of reselling at a decent price. This shift is causing a ripple effect in the market, with the once profitable quick flip model now becoming a challenge.

Shelf Life: The New Normal?

Another noticeable trend in the market is the increasing number of sneakers sitting on shelves. This is a stark contrast to the past when limited edition sneakers would sell out in minutes. The demand for these sneakers seems to be waning, with more pairs remaining unsold. This could be attributed to various factors, including market saturation, changing consumer preferences, or the economic impact of the pandemic. Regardless of the reason, this trend is a clear indication of the changing dynamics in the sneaker reselling market.

StockX: Adapting to Change

In response to these market changes, StockX is making strategic changes to ensure they continue to dominate the secondary market. On July 1, 2023, StockX will roll out lower fees for all sellers globally as part of their revamped seller program.
This program includes new perks and benefits, as well as adjusted seller level qualification thresholds.

The new fee structure is designed to be attractive to sellers and demonstrates StockX's commitment to empowering entrepreneurship in their community. The new fee for first-time sellers is 9%, while StockX’s most active sellers can earn as low as 5%.
The company is keeping policies in place that induce positive behavior from sellers, such as minimum ship times.
These practices are vital to StockX providing a smooth buying experience from start to finish.

StockX's strategy is a clear indication of the company's adaptability and willingness to evolve with the market.
By lowering their fees, they are making it more attractive for sellers to use their platform, thus increasing their market share. This move could potentially offset the impact of the current market trends and ensure their continued dominance in the secondary market.

Holding for Bigger Profits

Interestingly, some resellers are still choosing to hold onto their sneakers instead of opting for quick flips.
These risk-takers are betting on the potential for bigger profits down the line. This strategic move could pay off if the market rebounds and demand for these sneakers increases.
We saw a lot of holders loosing money after the Covid-19, actually because of the inflation but also the recession. We already wrote about the inflation here.

Conclusion

The sneaker reselling market is undoubtedly going through a period of change. The once profitable quick flip model is no longer as lucrative, and the increasing number of unsold pairs indicates a shift in consumer demand.
However, companies like StockX are adapting to these changes, indicating that the market is far from crashing. It is merely evolving, and those who can adapt to these changes will continue to thrive.
While the current trends may seem concerning to some, it's important to remember that markets are dynamic and constantly changing. The sneaker reselling market is no different.

As it navigates through these changes, it will be interesting to see how it evolves and what the future holds for this once highly profitable market.

The current average price on the secondary market is 248% with a significant price differential from 41EUR and above where the side exceeds 600%. (Data via Stockx)

The pair comes in a shinny sail box with a Nike Olive branding.
Inside is the signature pink paper of the Travis Scott collaborations with a Cactus Jack, Jordan & Nike co-branding.
This edition presents us a reverse color blocking with a black suede base layer and leather overlays in sail color.
The rapper's signature oversized reverse swoosh runs through the pair on the outer sides in an olive green. On the inside of the foot, we find the classic swoosh accompanied by the 'Cactus Jack' logo.

The pair comes with 4 pairs of laces: Sail, Red, Black and Olive.
Red accents spice up the branding elements on the heels and tongues.
A cream midsole and an olive outsole finalize the design.

The pair is released in women's sizing. So be careful if you have to choose a pair in US sizing, you will have to add +1.5 to your usual US men's size to match the women's sizes.
Other than that, the Air Jordan 1 Low fits true to size. So you can take your usual size.
As far as comfort is concerned, this release maintains the existing with a flat & firm style coupled with a close to the ground feel.

This release is said to be the latest collaboration between Travis Scott and Jordan Brand on the Air Jordan 1 Low.
There are already rumors of a possible collaboration on the Air Jordan 3 Retro. Who knows what Nike has in store for us?

While the Air Jordan 1 High OG seems to be on the decline for some time,
Jordan Brand has not slowed down the releases of Michael Jordan's first signature pair.

Playing with colors and materials, Jordan had successfully introduced a Hairy Suede upper with the release of the Air Jordan 1 High OG 'Turbo Green' followed by the 'Hyper Royal'.
That's why the Air Jordan 1 High OG 'Washed Pink' was awaited by many fans of the silhouette and is the third in this series.

Officially produced for women this time, the release has done quite well, especially the smaller sizes (40EUR and below) and is almost sold out online.
This new edition retains a white leather base with soft pink suede overlays.

Unlike its 2 predecessors, the midsole adopts a 'Muslin' color that gives an aged touch and the collar & the laces take a sail color that brings a creamy look to the pair.
An equally yellowed tongue and pink outsole finalize this washed design.

If you missed this release until now, it's not too late to grab a pair.
There are only a few sizes left online though. Check our full release page.
As a reminder, the Air Jordan 1 High OG fits true to size. You recommend to purchase your regular size for these shoes.
Don't forget that the sizing is a women sizing, especially if the sizes are displayed in US sizing.

Michael Jordan's 4th signature shoe has risen to the top of the sneaker market in recent years.
Jordan Brand has clearly limited quantities on many releases and numerous collaborations have brought back the hype on this silhouette.
Prices on secondary markets are skyrocketing and the perceived value by fans is increasing, a strategy that is now well known at Nike.

After the return of the Air Jordan 4 Retro Lightning in 2021, the Air Jordan 4 Retro 'Thunder' was highly anticipated 2023.
This release revives a black & yellow colorway that never goes unnoticed.
First introduced in 2006 and then re-released in 2012, many have been waiting for one more retro to acquire in their collection.

This edition features a smooth black nubuck upper, complemented by vibrant yellow accents on the molded eyelets, quarter panel and lower tongue.
The white Jumpman logo is featured on the heel and tongue, while a yellow polyurethane midsole runs through the pair providing lightweight cushioning.

Released for the entire family, the Air Jordan 4 Retro 'Thunder' didn't last long online in men's and GS sizes.
There are still children's sizes available online.
Check our full release pages if you want to grab a pair at retailers or marketplaces.

The quality of the pair is quite good and appears to be better than the 2012 pair.
Several people have had white marks on the toe box of one of the feet, however, but it goes away fairly easily.
As a reminder, the Air Jordan 4 Retro fits true to size. So we recommend you to take your usual size.

If you follow the sneaker market a little bit, it must have escaped you that the secondary market has taken a hit since 2022. Less demand, lower prices and more difficult to predict, all this is of course related to the current global economic context.
In this environment, opportunities are often hidden, although they are right in front of us.
One of Michael Jordan's most iconic models, the Air Jordan 1 High OG is a must-have that has been hard to come by at a reasonable price for quite some time.
Here is a short selection of 5 pairs of Air Jordan 1 High OG that you can get on Stockx at an under retail price.

Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG 'Stealth'

Average selling price over the last 12 months: 135 € (Retail price 180€)
Simple and clean color scheme, this version tries a different color blocking than the classic basketball shoes.
A mostly white upper with touches of gray on the lining, the outsole, the heel, the vamp & the laces, this release offers a look both simple and unexpected.

Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Pollen

Average selling price over the last 12 months: 158 € (Retail price 160€)
Downward trend continues with a retail price around 130-140€ at the moment.
Black & Yellow is a rather popular combo in the Michael Jordan collection.
This edition chooses a duller, less pronounced pollen yellow than the classic 'Unversity Gold' or 'Taxi' for the overlays while the base underneath opts for a black leather.

Women’s Air Jordan 1 High OG UNC To Chicago Leather

Average selling price over the last 12 months: 177€ (Retail price 160€)
However, recently the majority of the sales oscillate between 115€ and 165€ especially for the small sizes on this feminine model.
Mixing 2 of the most iconic colors, this colorway pays tribute to Michael Jordan's career,
from his impressive beginnings with his college team in North Carolina (UNC) to his NBA title with the Chicago Bulls.

Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG 'Vachetta Tan Black' - Heirloom

Average selling price over the last 12 months: 119 € (Retail price 180€)
The majority of sales were between 100€ and 120€.
A very affordable price for this Air Jordan 1 High OG revisited in a luxury way with a premium leather and black denim upper

Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG 'Brotherhood'

Average selling price over the last 12 months: 122 € (Retail price 170€)
Released in February 2022, the price of this edition has been slowly dropping on secondary markets. Inspired by Omega Psi Phi,
a famous African-American fraternity founded by Frank Coleman in 1911 and to which MJ belonged in his youth in Chapel Hill,
the Air Jordan 1 adopts yellow and burgundy colorways that feature a daring and flashier 'black toe' color-blocking mode.

Jordan continues its series of 'Craft' sneaker releases that reinterpret iconic Jordan silhouettes in a handcrafted way, bringing together the old and the new to create ever new designs.
Taking a familiar base and twisting it is a formula that works well for Nike and Jordan.
It's easy to think of the Off-White x Nike 'The Ten' collection, which put 10 classic sneakers into Virgil Abloh's magic design box.

Regarding this Jordan Craft series, it started in December 2021 with the Air Jordan 1 High OG 'Craft' and then continued in 2022 and 2023 with 3 packs of Jordan Mid and Low 'Inside Out'.
Reversing materials, updating textures and revisiting construction, the design process is broadly the same delivering a silhouette that is both recognizable but never seen.

This Air Jordan 4 Retro was quite anticipated by fans since the first leaks. Jordan brand has clearly increased the scarcity both on the Air Jordan 4 releases but also on the quantities available at retailers.
The value on secondary markets has mechanically increased and so has the perceived value by fans.

This special edition presents us with a handcrafted interpretation of Tinker Hatfield's 1989 design. A new colorway with a gray upper and beige and yellow details for a perfect contrast.
At first glance, the pair exudes that 'handmade' feel with unusual textures and added stitching.
On the side, an embossed leather replaces the famous plastic strap bringing a luxury touch to the basketball pair.

Soft suede on the upper and additional stitching lines on the front and side of the upper complete the artisanal touch.
The lining has not been forgotten with an update of material to make it softer and brushed.
Combined with a square patch next to it, it becomes easier to put on the pair for daily use.

The Air Jordan 4 Retro SE 'Craft' is a very successful release and faithful to its basic concept.
A quality superior to the usual Air Jordan 4 and a slightly better comfort. The price was higher like most special editions since the retail was 219.99€ against 199.99€ for the 'normal' editions.

The pair was released on February 11, 2023 in Men's and GS sizes and was sold out immediately.
You can still get a pair on the secondary market via our release page.

Enjoy our exclusive photos & video of the Air Jordan 4 Retro SE 'Craft' below if you are still not convinced.
