Revived from its 2011 Tokyo23 exclusive status, the Air Jordan 5 “Tokyo” returns in full force—varsity maize suede, wolf grey, and eye-popping details reclaim its throne among Jordan’s most coveted retros. Celebrating heritage with renewed shine, this drop nods to the past while standing tall for the future.
Design & Materials
The Air Jordan 5 “Tokyo” (IO3372-700) features a yellow suede upper contrasted by Wolf Grey accents on the tongue, eyelets, and mesh side panels. Black overlays and midsole trim provide grounding contrast, while metallic detailing (including the embroidered Kanji on the heel) pays homage to its Japan connection. The classic AJ5 shark-teeth midsole, translucent outsole, and reflective tongue stay true to the original silhouette.
Comfort & Performance
True to its retro roots, it retains the padded ankle collar for support, visible Air cushioning under the heel for impact absorption, and a durable outsole for grip. The suede construction adds texture and weight, making the fit substantial without compromising the AJ5’s signature comfort.
Release Info
Releasing on September 27, 2025, the Air Jordan 5 “Tokyo” will be available via Nike SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers, with a retail price of $215 USD/€210.
