Vault By Vans And Joe Freshgoods Chocolate Valley Resort Sneakers Releases

The Vault by Vans and Joe Freshgoods are teaming up once again to present the "Chocolate Valley Resort" collection, an ode to travel and leisure from the Black experience, visualized through history and community.

The collection features a range of footwear, apparel and accessories that blend playfulness and functionality, designed with modern silhouettes, bright colors, and keeping movement and creativity in mind.

The inspiration comes from Joe Freshgoods' love for travel and research, and it aligns with the rich history of Vault by Vans, but from a new perspective. We have winter-ready pieces that marries the history of Black travel and leisure.

The collection is highlighted by the Resort Puffer, the Chocolate Cardigan, Cabin Tee, Resort Uniform Cargo, Logo Puffer Tote, Resort Mask, and the footwear lineup, which reimagines the Sk8-Hi Reissue Platform VLT LX and Slip-Hiker LX.

The lookbook (here), captured by documentarian Yashaddai Owens and featuring Barrington Darius, is set in the 1950s, and tells the story of a Black writer exploring the “Chocolate Valley Resort” seeking the space to reset, relax and reconnect.

The collection will be available to shop on January 21 at Every Now & Then, a retail and resource company, and on JoeFreshgoods.com, followed by a release at select Vault by Vans retailers globally and on Vans.com.
