A new release from dotSwoosh this autumn with a retro gaming-inspired Nike Air Max 1 'Low Poly'.
Originally focused on Web3 and NFTs, Nike's platform has recently pivoted to concentrate on video games and their universe. This special edition of the iconic 1987 silhouette pays homage to the emblematic video game era of the 90s and early 2000s. Starting with the concept of the pixel and its key role in graphics and the digitization of gaming, Nike has taken this theme and applied it to the entire design of the pair. Throughout the AM1's 'University Red' OG colorway, the upper, mudguard and gray overlays are all pixelated.
The pair will only be available as a pre-order on dotSwoosh's website on October 8. Find out more in our
dedicated article.
Apart from the pairs offered to stars and influencers, the general release pairs are not expected to hit the market until early February, according to Nike.
For the impatient, you can already find some sizes on the usual marketplaces.
