We called it Rainbow because of the 1999 edition being almost the same shoe with gradients, but not exactly...
The upper of the shoe features a gradient design in various colors, transitioning from yellow to orange to red to purple to blue to green. The TPU overlays on the upper are black, providing support and structure to the design. The Nike Swoosh branding is also present on the upper in yellow and was orange in the 1999 model, but now it macthes the color of the Air Max bubbles which was more red in the OG edition.
The midsole of the shoe is white and features the signature Air Max cushioning technology, which ensures a comfortable ride and helps absorb impact with every step. The outsole is made of durable rubber with a waffle pattern tread for traction and durability. Other notable design elements of the Nike Air Max Plus OG 'Rainbow' reissue include a padded tongue and collar for added comfort and support, as well as a lace-up closure system for a secure and personalized fit.
Overall, the Nike Air Max Plus OG 'Rainbow' reissue is pretty well done, it reminds you the old days but with different way of mixing the same colors.
